All equipment comes into a DescendAgain dealer for an initial inspection to determine if it can be certified and meet our high standards. If it passes initial inspection its listed for sale on our website
You make a purchase on our website and the certification process starts. All equipment is completely stripped and disassembled. Every single part is meticulously inspected and anything questionable is replaced. Why do we wait for equipment to be purchased to certify it? So that your next service is due based on the date of purchase, not the date it was listed.
Equipment is reassembled and put through our DescendAgain Certification process. This goes well beyond tuning to manufactures specifications. New parts need to be broken in and tested again to ensure they have not drifted out of manufactures specifications. That why we simulate a 10 minute dive in a variety of conditions.
Condition is about cosmetics, not function. A “Heavy Wear” regulator breathes just as well and is just as reliable as a “New” one. The outside appearance has virtually no effect on the regulator's performance.
